If you have lived in Denver long enough to have witnessed the revitalization of Union Station, and the entire area around it to which we now refer as "New Denver" you should go to Cooper Lounge. Or, for that matter, any of the venues in the Station. I agree that all of them are pricey, and geared toward the hoard of young professionals flocking to Denver every day. I had the pleasure of visiting the Cooper Lounge on March 25th with my husband for some fantastic cocktails! Shawn and Luiz took wonderful care of us and we got exceptional personal interaction that you can only get by very skilled and talented bartenders in high end establishments!
Drinks were OK. We went not served the year Zinfandel the menu said we would be. They gave us credit. The hors d’ourves were ordinary. The reason to go there is that it’s just a great place to be. The restoration is impressive
