Dr. Cooper is always cordial and listens to my concerns
Very friendly caring and listens!
I was looking for a new PCP and gave Dr. Christopher Cooper a shot. If you’re older, I’m 70, he’s “not” your guy. You want your PCP to be in your corner. What I experienced today, Dec. 14, 2021, was as bad as I’ve ever experienced in my life. On my “meet & greet” I listed 2 prescriptions I’ve taken since I was in my 40’s. Spent the last 14 years in Tennessee then a year in Albuquerque and no problems. Dr. Cooper told me “no” to my prescriptions and said he’d prescribe me a physiatrist. Thanked him for his honesty, politely t... read more
Wonderful! I've been a patient of Dr. Cooper's for almost 8 years and he is always respectful, caring and friendly. His office staff is also great!
I have never seen an office run so poorly in my life. I called on a Thursday saying I thought I had the flu. They said come in on Friday. Dr. Cooper of course was booked. Saw PA. Was told I had flu B was given a mask and cough syrup. Went to emergency room on Sunday and was told I had pneumonia in both lungs. Stayed in hospital for a week. Upon release from hospital I was told to follow up with my Dr in a week for exam and blood test. Dr Coopers office told me sorry he’s booked it will be two weeks. Finally got my blood test... read more
I waited 18 months to comment on this so it is not an emotional reaction. Personally, I liked Dr. Cooper. However, I experienced multiple administrative and even medical mistakes in his office. It became so frequent that I met with his office manager about it. Finally, one day when "Denise" called me in for a test I had already had, I could no longer remain silent and said: "The right-hand does not know what the left is doing." Dr. Cooper called me back and said I was "rude and derogatory" and fired me as a patient. Hospital... read more
Half of all MD graduate at bottom half of class he must be one of them. He has been great when my family is healthy and needs well visits. He can't cure an illness. 6 yo has been fighting something for 2 months and when I called for help today he refused to give RX because he has not seen her (fair but I requested a visit with him each time but was told he was full and I would need to see NP) when I asked him to call me to discuss situation office staff called back to say he would call in RX
No bed side manners , as stated before by other patients .Very rude . Cooper rolled his eyes at me I was in disbelief how rude and disrespectful he behaved. Cooper pushed the computer desk into the wall and he actually told us we could go see someone else if we didn’t him or think he’s being rude, after I asked him why he was being so unprofessional He continued by further escalating the situation by looking at my daughter who is 12 and ask “ should I ask you or your mother the questions?” Rude.
If you are looking for a doctor who actually listens-Dr. Cooper is the one ! He listens and responds to all concerns. He explains everything and doesn't rush. The office staff is friendly and efficient.
