We were in town for the funeral of a good friend's husband and had to stop at Cooney's for sentimental reasons!
Brian Is the Best
My husband and I love stopping by Cooney’s on our date nights to enjoy their (free!) darts and good drinks. The bartender is always very professional and friendly and the atmosphere is that of a nice Irish pub/ elevated dive. The setup inside with the dart lane and other cozy seating is nice for a date night. This is easily our favorite bar in the Urbandale area and when you’re there, you can sense there are a lot of regulars and it is a well-loved staple on Beaver!
There’s no place like home and Cooneys is home.
