Our family could not have been more pleased with the respectful and kind handling of my husband's service. All ran smoothly. Never did I feel the "sell" to upgrade or buy extras. We used Cooney FH when my mother in law passed. Everyone was very professional, understanding, and compassionate.

My mom was his life partner for 9 years, spent everyday together and he passed in front of her the night before their anniversary. His “former former” ex wife that hasn’t been in his life for 25 years told them that she was in charge and wouldn’t let my mom in the family viewing and threaten to have her removed for being there. Our experience with Cooney didn't feel respectful. LOWLIGHT: Body Removal Attendant's cell phone rang the Godfather movie theme song as he wheeled my mother's body out our door! From the start, Cooney delayed sending paperwork, causing us to deal with it at time of death. They then debated me on the meaning of "pre-planning." And after they gladly accepted first payment according to their contract and took my mother's body, they later called to debate the first installment amount before I could pick up my mother's ashes.
