Last year After seeing so many good reviews I called Cooling Tampa to fix my AC. The tech. came and said it is just clogged drain and charged me $250 to clean but still wouldn't work and then said I need a kickstart kit and charged another $200. After 2 months it went off again. Another tech. (Scott) came this time and said it is the capacitor this time. After changing it still would not work so he did some other checks and said it is the compressor (my unit is only 6 years old). He said it is going to cost me $2600 even wit... read more

Do not use! I had to have the tech back 3 times over a holiday weekend and my 4 year old system was still not working. He destroyed my drip pan by drilling through it making it now useless. Tommy the owners son didn’t return my phone calls and when he finally did (after his vacation weekend), he sent another person out who just put a lot of tape on the unit. My insurance inspector said it’s the worst job he’s ever seen. It’s going to cost me plenty to properly fix what I paid them to do. Beware.
This is hands-down the most profession and honest AC company we have ever used. For starters, the appointment communication was excellent with multiple confirmations and they arrived on time!! They thoroughly explained everything they were going to do, why it was necessary and what the proposed maintenance schedule for individual components should be.
