On 9/23/17, we contacted Cool Temp upon seeing them listed on the Hoshizaki (ice machine manufacturer) website as an authorized service rep in the Portland area, as our ice machine was not dispensing ice. We requested that the ice machine be repaired and fully serviced. The tech spent 4-5 hours and we were billed $538, which was paid for promptly. I called to ask about an estimate to get my slicer serviced and before i could ask about quotes, the gentleman on the phone rudely stated "we don't give free estimates". I wasn't looking for free estimates, just a question about what the price of an estimate would be. I found this to be pretty unsettling and not very good for a business looking to expand their services. I thanked him for the quick negative response and hung up the phone. These guys are rude as heck. I asked him to call me back when he had a technican free and he told me to call someone else. He told me his priority was to his regular clients. I guess he doesn't need new clients. The guy had a bad attitude and I would never call this company again.
