I debated on leaving review because this place was recommended by a friend. We've had steers processed plenty of times. I'm disappointed in the beef we got back. The steaks are unrecognizable. Everyone knows what a ribeye looks like. Ours looks like NY strips. The filets look like they were cut into random chunks. The hamburger has quite a bit of bone. Y'all must be a good place because of the good reviews. Maybe the person or people who did ours were new and had no idea what they were doing? Either way, it's disheartening.
Easy load of 3/4 cow... vacuum packed n loaded in trays. Helped us put in coolers. Thanks for the help n easy pickup.
I went today to pick up 25 lbs of ground beef that I had inquired about by phone earlier in the day. When I arrived they said they didn’t have it, the miscommunication was because the person answering the phone when I called was covering for lunch. But the owner was so kind and asked if I could wait 30 minutes he would have it ground and packaged for me. I absolutely did wait as I had driven 40 minutes. The beef is delicious!!!!! If I could leave no stars I would. I ordered a “whole hog” and put a deposit of $300 down. When I placed my order I specifically requested a whole hog. Only asked for it to be killed and cleaned from the inside. Came to pick it up and It was skinned and head removed!! No partial refund was given since the hog was already killed. He said that per federal regulation they cannot sell us the head and skin. Combs butcher shop would include that when ordering a whole hog.
