We absolutely love Cooks! My husband and I are both Tampa natives who live right down the street, and we keep asking ourselves why it took us so long to find Cook’s! The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff is so friendly, and that DRESSING. If you go for one thing, get that amazing garlic dressing to go. But don’t go for one thing… try it all!
This place has such delicious food! My favorites are the clotted cream, the scones with jam, and the meringue. The sandwiches and salads are amazing too! I also love all the lovely British items you can purchase, and the staff are very friendly too. I enjoy getting items here and having my own British high tea at home. This is a gem in South Tampa, and I absolutely love it! 10/10
Go for the Scone
Such an incredible find in South Tampa! You drive past this all the time on Gandy, you just don't know it. Working out of a converted house, the staff is always polite and efficient at Cooks. I swear by their Coronation Chicken Salad (but get it as a sandwich!) and I crave their pasta salad at least once a week. I absolutely love their decor, stylized as a British pub with UK flags and snacks you can't get here in the US. Family-owned and I hope will be here for years to come!
