My neighbor had a floor put in and we believe they were contracted out. Definitely, skilled but the person that came their attitude wasn't super awesome and less than 2 months later there is a crack in their floor. Their landlord would have fixed it himself but worker took all of the extra slacks that were al paid for so it was like a catch 22. Great experience . The installers were professional,wellspoken, polite young men. Knocked out our whole upstairs floor in 6 hours.
We unwisely had Cooks replace our flooring while we were out of town. When we returned- there were 1/4” gaps between 1/3 of the flooring planks, garbage was overflowing the trash bin (it was empty when we left) and covering the kitchen counter and had attracted bugs. The owner did come by and admit that the work was unacceptable- he would get back to us to completely rip everything out and redo it. Yup, you guessed it- that never happened. If you tell a customer you will fix it and do not do it, you lack integrity.
