About this business

About The Cookie Tree: December 1981 brought the opening of The Cookie Tree. Two friends, after visits to San Francisco and other cities, decided they could make cookies just as good, if not better, than they were finding there. With a minimal amount of money, they set out and purchased used equipment, one oven, one pastry case, a used cash register, and found a small little location on Plumas Street in Yuba City, California, and opened their gourmet cookie bakery. I have been in there, 3 times and walked out three times. No consideration for priority of customer in line. They never look up or smile when you walk in. The stench of arrogance over takes any possibility of wanting to contribute to this establishment. Try Stephen's Farmhouse, you also get more for your money there.

Love The Cookie Tree. Came in the day of the FFA/4-H auction at the 2017 Yuba-Sutter Fair and was able to pick up a last minute buyer's gift for my son to give to his buyer. Of course I had to get a dozen cookies to take home for the family to eat as well. Delicious. Thank you for your wonderful customer service and amazing cookies!!!
