We were on our way to Charleston when we heard strange noises and thought it might be an issue with a wheel bearing, called Cooke's up with 10 minutes notice and they saw us right away knowing we were traveling. They checked everything thoroughly, did a manual check of the tires, checked the brakes, put us up on the lift, took a test drive to make sure we were good to get where we were going, gave us advice and sent us on our way without charging. Been going to David for over 25 years, never been treated any way but right. David is good & honest!
Whenever possible, my parents sent their cars to Cooke's, and I can easily understand why. I brought mine in this morning for a couple of long put-off repairs and got it back this afternoon at easily $100 less than I was quoted at the chain garage I had been using. Mr. Cooke explained exactly what was going to be done and why, called to give a progress report, and once it was done, he even went out of his way to give me a lift back to the garage for pick-up. You just don't get customer service like that any more.
