I have an aunt living at a local nursing home. Because of multiple strokes, she is unable to walk or speak. She was always a very active person. It has been hard for us to watch her stay in her bed all day long. We had an idea to get her out for a ride on her birthday. The nursing home suggested Cook & Reeves. My wife called this company to price and arrange to pick up our handicapped daughter from a local nursing home on Christmas Eve (pickup at 4 and return at 7:30). A employee quoted her $250 which seemed reasonable as they charged $295 last year for exactly the same service. When we checked our credit card charge this time, the bill was $379. This is one hundred eighty more than quoted, and right at 30% higher that last year! Had we known the cost would be this much we would have looked elsewhere. Wonderful service, the van was impeccable, and priced appropriately. I will definitely rent another van from them again. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 10/10.
