As an employee of car dealerships for 10+ years, I'm highly critical of how dealerships treat their customers. Had a great experience with Max Stahl after being let down some dealers closer to me. Highly recommend.
Had a great experience, everyone was communicative, professional and respectful, and more than willing to explain anything you have a question about. They're very accommodating with time especially when I had a friend drive me down 4 hours to even see the car! Process went smoothly and everything was figured out quickly. Overall great experience with these people.
The buying process at Cook Mazda was a 10/10! Took about a week of searching for a Mazda CX90, and the moment I spoke with our sales rep Tyler on the phone I knew we would do business with them. Not only being family owned and operated, the staff at the dealership made dropping 60K palatable. On October 22, 2025, my elderly mother provided a $1,000 cash deposit to Cooks Automotive in Aberdeen, Maryland, while considering the purchase of a vehicle. Shortly afterward, the salesperson refused to return her deposit and threatened to throw her off the property when she requested it back. No purchase contract had been signed, and there was no written agreement stating the deposit was non-refundable.
