I did not have a good experience with Cook Inlet Lending. I normally do not post negative experiences, but buying a home is a huge milestone and should be done with a lender that is communicative and knowledgeable. I was not given my options with details and didn't even know my monthly mortgage payment until I got my closing documents. The down payment assistance loan processor was also very non-commutative and the entire process with CIL was not a positive one for me. I recommend looking into other options.
