FYI about this WONDERFUL store, Cook and Craft !! Garrison Gunter is 3rd generation in Greenwich! His grandfather came to Old Greenwich in the 1920"s. The customer service Garrison offers is unique and heartfelt ........ a family tradition. Thanks Garrison for all of your good advise and cooking hints !!!
I had the absolute worst experience at this shop today. I went to the shop yesterday where I waited 20 minutes for the owner to return from an errand (a sign was posted on the door stating he would be back at 4:20, he arrived at 4:30.) He did help me find the items I was looking for. I bought two items total. However I did not notice that one of the items I bought was $20 more than the item I was shown. Hip store, cool owner, and a friendly dog. Fun store chock full of essentials, luxory items, and fun items for the kitchen like bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. A great place for holiday or birthday gifts especially for foodie friends or family. Can't wait to go back.
