Overall, great experience! We had scheduled an appointment online for a same day visit on a Saturday morning. After checking in, we were only waiting maybe 5 minutes before getting called back. Our nurse, Eva, was very sweet and professional. Our nurse practitioner, Usha, was amazing! She was so sweet with our baby and explained everything thoroughly yet easy to understand. Will be coming here next time we need an urgent care visit. Highly recommend!
I am deeply disappointed with the lack of safety and hygiene at Cook Children’s Hospital. During our recent visit, there was visible dirt and debris on the floor that had clearly been ignored by staff. Tragically, my son slipped and fell on this unclean area, resulting in an injury. Only after he fell did the hospital staff rush over to clean the mess. This shows clear negligence—if the area had been cleaned in the first place, my son wouldn’t have been hurt. I’m surprised by the low rating. We had a visit to Cooks Urgent Care this weekend after my 16 month old tripped and hit his head at the park. They were able to get us in right away, wait was maybe 10 minutes and all the staff was very kind. My son especially loved the doctor on call! He was very friendly and showed care and concern. We maybe spent a total of an hour in there if that which is much better than the typical urgent care wait. Thank you to all the staff for making my unexpected trip painless.
Our most recent experience at Cook Children's Urgent Care in Southlake was an extremely positive one. My husband and I brought our youngest son in after he fell off his scooter and needed stitches under his nose. He's had aversions to the thought of emergency care, stitches, and broken bones for as long as I can remember. Absolutely wonderful experience! My daughter and I came in after she fell off her bike to check out her arm. Everyone who helped us: the front desk staff, nurses, x-ray technician, and doctor were all so kind, helpful, informative, and professional.
