RecommendedI moved to Texas from northdakota and my son was having a couple medical issues and was getting wrong diagnosed and we came to cooks and they immediately took control and he is now healing from two surgery’s. They also where so much support today as I endured the worst fear in my life thinking my 1 year old was diabetic I highly recommend this hospital to everyone.
My son and I have been here for a week now. For as long as I can help it, I will never take my children to another hospital. They have been caring, attentive, comforting and have been taking amazing care of my son. As for the complaints about long waits in the ER, that should be expected. There are many children in the metroplex that need care too. They do have several urgent care locations!
They were so quick and caring and on top of it from the moment we walked in

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Once you get past the ER, this is a wonderful Children’s medical center (hospital). - no one has a perfect ER, don’t judge on the ER alone)
I was hospitalized in 1999 to 2000, and if it wasn’t for this hospital I really do not think I would be where I am as of today.
Thank you so much for providing top of the line care for my daughter Sarai EVERYTIME. Your staff is AMAZING! From the guy that greeted me at the ER entrance to the young woman who checked me in after him, to the PCT to the ER Nurse and Doctor, even the lady for room service, and pretty much all the nurses on the 6th floor.
