I hate to have to say this but don't waste your time with them. I should have known when we were "no-called, no-showed" by Jeremy for our bid walk through, that I should have looked elsewhere. When he was 20 minutes late to our first walk through for a bid, I called him and he said he wasn't going to make it because he was stuck in Idaho. That would have been good to know BEFORE he was 20 minutes late for our walk through. Be cautious subcontracting for Cook Builders. We provided trucking services for them over a year ago and have yet to be paid. Despite repeated follow-ups and their earlier promises to remain transparent and committed to resolving payment, we've received no communication in months. As a small business, this kind of non-payment is damaging. We hope this serves as a heads-up to others considering working with them.
Full disclosure - I've never used Cook Builders. They did the remodel of a space next to one of my retail locations. While working they cut my data line which killed my Internet and phones on the busiest day of the year. We were down for a few hours and lost a fair amount of revenue. Cook took ownership of the issue and made us whole. There's something to be said for a company with integrity, and these folks have it. The space they renovated looks phenomenal too.
