Conway wellness center is an absolutely incredible facility. I was in the Autumn unit. All of the staff, nurses, and techs did everything in their power to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. The doctors came to do wellness checks everyday. I was able to fully open up and be completely honest without fear of being judged or ridiculed. The first morning I was there I had a panic attack and Laila held my hands and walked me through it. While I was inpatient here, I watched the lady running the facility, another lady, and a male nurse laugh at a patient in the secluded room. When I confronted some of the staff about certain issues I was confronted by the lady in charge. In return she ended up putting me in a 72 hour hold without proper reasoning after I told them I wanted to leave. Since you can not go into your room during the day, without proper permission from the doctor, most patients have to use a community bathroom. There was piss on the floor of the ... read more
My husband was put in there by our sheriff office and I call several times trying to get a hold of him and they kept saying they didn't have anyone by his name.. It wasn't until he was allowed to make a phone call that I found out he was in Conway behavioral health...
Awful place to go! My family member was there and she came out worse than what she was! She kept falling and hitting her head and not once did they have her see a doctor. They put her in such a bad psychosis that when she got discharged finally we had to take her to a different hospital to get treatment. Avoid this place if you can.
My spouse was transferred here from another hospital for a 72 hour hold to attempt to manage his medication for an anxiety issue with Huntington’s Disease. The transfer was approved and after several hours of being there they called and said he didn’t qualify for services (previously approved services)?! The front desk staff threw a bag on the desk and said there’s his stuff. When he came out he had a black eye and dried blood all over his elbow.
