I'm changing from Conviva, after 4+ years, because their referral department is of poor quality. I've had to follow up on several referral requests made earlier for my cardiologist and other physicians myself! And their advertisement of "same day appointments," forget it! I had an bad cough and chest congestion and needed to see a doctor was told "no appointments today!" before I could even give my name! I was told to either go to an Urgent Care or the ER! I have a great doctor with convenience I follow him from his previous practice and he has never been a problem for me however I've been inconvenienced today Sunday October 11th because I'm not feeling well at all so I look up can be with website and it says you have access to a doctor 24/7 with a day or night so I call and I get a sound like a young punk assured me by talking over me not even asking what my issue was never once asked me what my issue was I just told her I don't I'm very sick I don't feel good so he's talking... read more
Some of the staff members are very nice and helpful, others are kind of mean. My doctor is not accessible most of the time and cancel appointments often. I will change office next year (three more months to go!)
If I could give zero stars, I would. this location on San Pedro is the worst on referral process. My parents have had doctor appointment follow ups, the offices have asked for the referral papers over three times and they failed to send the referral. The patients are having to leave doctor appointments and having to physically go to the location to actually receive the referral document. My doctor, Dr Mario Angeles is just the best! after my first visit and tests he spent so much time going over my tests with me and they have never failed to try to get me in if I needed to get an appointment. Everyone in the office has been absolutely amazing.
