They refused to give me an antibiotic for a throat infection that had been present for over a month because I tested negative for Strep (if you've ever had Strep before, both you & a practitioner can pretty accurately guess whether you have it or not; I knew I didn't have Strep). While I understand the hesitancy to provide antibiotics, the last antibiotic I took was over 6 years ago - & I'd been sick for over a month. Took my daughter in with a high fever for 3 days. They knew I had just had strep throat but wouldnt listen to me. Called it a virus and said her throat was totally clear. After being up all night with a fever of over 103 we went to medexpress Sunday where they took 2 seconds to do a swab and she has strep. Waste of a copay and left my kiddo miserable for longer than she needed to be! I’d go anywhere else.

I visited this Heritage Valley Convenient Care on Friday, August 31. I couldn’t ask for better medical attention from Susan the medical assistant, Donna the nurse practitioner, and the x-ray technician. They were all very polite, considerate, and compassionate. I would definitely go back again if needed and I recommend this facility.
