I called Controlled Credit to talk to them about a letter I received in the mail. The amount due was 25k more than what we owe. I tried to talk with the customer rep to clear this up. She was the absolute most rude representative I have ever talked to. After accusing me of calling the wrong place three times (when I called the number stated on the letter), I asked her why she was getting so frustrated with me when I was just trying to understand something. Sent me a letter saying that I owed money to a imaging building I've never seen before.I haven't got x-rays done in 3 years. I doubt they can do anything to pursue this other than routinely send you letters and demand action. It was literally like two or three different places with the same amount from places I've never been to. This is got to be a scam or some type of miscommunication. Sent my husband a bill when insurance covered everything, doubt they can do anything but continue to bug you about something that probably isnt even true. Time and time again i get these letters or calls and the letters look extremely unprofessional.
no way of cross reference bills because CCC combines them and wants to do monthly payments that are the same every month .. I have no idea what bills im paying off with the hospital .. I started to do payments again on a few bills and Christ still pushed it through to CCC because it did not meet their required minimum. Sad in this time of Covid you think they would work with you a bit more. CCC should change up the way they are collection at this time
