I love plants, but I'm not a cut flower type of person and know nothing about floral arrangements. I went looking for a gift with a colour scheme and not much else to go on. The young woman (sorry, didn't catch her name) working there was so, so friendly, very patient, and super helpful. I asked her for a custom bouquet and she not only offered great suggestions, she called me only a short time later to tell me that it was ready for pick up. I hadn't even left the mall. I'm an Asian-American currently living in Surrey, and this was the worst customer service I've experienced in both the US and Canada at a flower shop. I visited on May 17th, close to closing time. A young female staff member, possibly Korean-Canadian, didn’t greet me, showed no politeness, and barely acknowledged me the entire time. I asked her to wrap a rose—she did so silently.
