I bought a sandwich to go. Paid for it with a CC. Counter person executed the order, flipping the screen over so I could tap my card and respond to the tip questions. The screen was not visible to her. I tapped no tip. As soon as the transaction concluded, she flipped the screen and looked at the display to see what the tip amount was. This was a transaction, not a service interaction. If someone cannot afford to pay servers enough to set up a proper business model, something is wrong with the system the owner has devised.
Are you looking for a place that awakens all of your senses in a culinary comfort experience?! This is it. We were so thankful we found this on our trip and can’t wait to get back. They also have a great gift shop with cool fines and wine bottles for sale. A new must stop on my list for Napa
I can’t imagine anything on their menu isn’t absolutely delicious. The hot ham sandwich and pimento cheese biscuit were incredibly tasty, sit on some nearby benches and enjoy the weather. Coffee was good, other drink selection looks great, and they even have a selection of tinned fish and other gourmet goodies. 5/5 10/10 15/15
Top sandwich shop in Napa. Food is always fresh and excellent quality. Extremely hospitable service. Personally recommend their roast beef sandwich, but can't go wrong either way.
