Terrible company to work for! The owners of this company are all about the money & not about their patients or patient care. They do not treat their employees well & avoid paying them their out of pocket expenses. They offer vacation days yet will hardly allow you to take those days & will not pay them off to you when you leave their company in good standing. Contigo Hospice is the best. They took care of my grandpa as if he was their own family. The nurses were very attentive and always listened and answered any questions or concerns we had. Anything my grandpa needed they brought. I’m very grateful to them for giving the best care to my grandpa. Bless all the nurses and staff.
If I could give this place No stars I would. My hospice care mom did not have her meds delivered on time and the weekend of 1-31-21 her meds were not delivered at ALL even after I begged and pleaded with the director RN Lee. She assured me they would be delivered by 8 pm and nothing. Then they rejected giving my mom a pain patch because they needed to justify her being in pain. My Mom has suffered with Pulmonary Fibrosis for 4 years, recently she has been getting more and more out of breath. She worries about everything and all of us her family. Contigo Hospice, specifically Josh, Alisandra, and Paul were great, they took very good care of my Grandfather, Julian, at Edinburg Regional Hospital. They ensured my grandfather’s last days were peaceful, comfortable and he was treated with the utmost dignity. They also made sure all of my grandfather’s immediate family members were able to visit him as needed, our family definitely recommends Contigo to your family when the time comes.
