The doctors and mid wife's are nice, but it's a very incompetent office. I went in to see what was wrong with me, and a week later I was contacted by phone saying that another culture needed to be done that was going to cost $700 and was basically told I had to find out if my insurance was covered, give them the procedure code, and what not.. And they couldn't even give me a procedure code! Forgive me if I'm wrong, but don't doctor's offices PAY someone for that specific job of dealing with insurance companies on those kinds... read more
They almost killed me by being negligent in my care and not taking my complaints seriously.
I've used Contemporary Women's Care for years - they've seen me through a miscarriage, bilateral mastectomy, menopause...they are technically competent and personable. Dr. Van Zandt is my physician, and seeing her is like seeing a girlfriend who happens to be an excellent OB/GYN - she shoots straight with me, takes the time necessary to answer my questions, and her counsel has never been wrong.
