im on a budget plan that was and i say WAS $126.00 a month .got January's bill and it went up $70.00 it is now $196.00 and i use NO more then i did when it was $126.00. I called and they said if you look on your December bill it explains that it will increase. My daughter found it online that the increase is to support them. what a joke. I hope they did NOT do this to the elderly that is on a fixed income
I like consumers energy they help u figure out your bill if u are gonna be shut off they do give u time to figure things out .Now they have an app that is really cool to help with paying your bill to how much electric your using based on time of day and the weather so u can control how high your bill is unplug things your not using shut lights off and don’t do laundry and high energy items in the peak hours my mom taught me this stuff years ago and I was annoyed with it but now it makes complete sence !!!!! They've left me on hold, and then hung up on me 3 times. Trying to get service restored for my disabled veteran father who needs the electric. Great work on that customer service.
