If I could put no stars I would consumers energy is the worst company like someone else said if I never had to deal with y'all I would have me and my kids in the cold after I paid my bill and I've been waiting on someone all day to come turn my heat back on it is now 8:20 at night me and my husband have to work in the morning can't even take showers because we have no hot water no one have called or showed up and they waited good until it was time to go home so they couldn't take no more of my calls. Horrendous!! If I could change my gas company I would and never look back in a heartbeat. My husband and I bought our house 2 months ago. I kept getting bills in the mail with a temporary account number, so, I paid it. 2 months worth of gas bills paid, kept trying to make a stupid online account but every time I tried it told me I had to call the company. What an absolute joke of a company. Whoever is running their outage department needs to be fired. My area is one of the biggest outages in the downtown area, yet no crew has been assigned in over 12 hours and everything in my freezer is rotting. When I called, I was told to “be patient and that power would hopefully be back sooner or later”. Consumers Energy has called me four times today after I’ve already paid my bill. The balance on their “updated” application shows $0.00 is owed. What makes no sense is that their hours are listed for their call center to close at 4:30pm. They just called me back to back at 07:15pm and 07:17pm. They were kind enough to give me a “7 day extension to pay my balance of $0 dollars and $0.00 cents”. Ridiculous 😖
