Finally after being apx. 6 years behind consumers energy (Chop tree service) showed up to trim tree branch’s to 24” away from my power lines. They could have easily trimmed more but even after coming back a second time they didn’t. This will grow back in a year or less. They have replaced this wire before due to damage from trees. 71 Retired and on a fixed income I can’t afford to pay someone to finish there job. Consumers energy must think it’s cheaper to repair wires in an emergency instead of preventive maintenance.
It takes a year for them to get it done
I hope whomever comes across this, will actually read it. First of all, we're all ADULTS!!The fact that while you're on hold waiting to be connected to a representative, it says that if you don't speak to the representative in a civil way they won't talk to you!! NO ONE SHOULD BE CUSSING, YELLING OR AWFUL TWOARDS THE CONSUMERS ENERGY REPRESENTATIVE. Secondly!!! I have had plenty of times when I got far behind on my electric bill.
