Consumers had put us in a dangerous position. I started service at a new home and submitted documentation online. I received a letter saying documentation was only partially received so same day I took all notarized documents into this office 6/29 and was assured by the man working I was all set and my power would not be shut off. I woke up yesterday to no power, in the middle of an extreme heat advisory. Consumers is the worst of the worst. The customer service is horrible. The workers there are just...... there are words for it but I won't post it unfortunately. If you want to have a bad day just call them they'll set in motion.
I used to like it very much but the lazy employees are on purpose to hinder pubic bill paying in person and it's not called for. The elimination of the night deposit box to the elimination of credit card to force you to pay online to then use the card so they charge fees for using the card for payment near $4 fee on top of your actual bill. All because of pure lazy employees that are on purpose to hinder the customer
