Washington Consumers’ Checkbook is honestly one of the best places to find good companies. You can tell the reviews are real and not just paid ads like other sites. Every time I’ve used it, I’ve ended up hiring people who actually knew what they were doing and didn’t rip me off. It’s super easy to use too. I really trust it way more than places like Yelp or Angie’s List. Definitely recommend checking it out if you want real reviews and not a bunch of fake stuff.

Please STOP the pulsating banner ad that you display on the side of web pages. Very distracting for someone trying to find a job on the internet. It comes up every minute on my screen. I love your books and website but this web ad is not nice at all.

I'm here to tell you that if you don't subscribe to Consumers Checkbook magazine you are missing out. I never have any service done or hire any vendor in the DC metropolitan area without first checking price and quality with CC. They base their ratings on actual surveys of customers and secret shoppers. They have no bias and are completely reliable.
