We should've looked at their Google Review BEFORE contacting them. Mom's had bad experiences with caregivers. One even stole from her. The police got involved. So mom got hooked up with Consumer Direct Colorado. Alaina, the woman working with mom STRONGLY suggested she use PASCO (Personal Assistance Services of Colorado) for her financial services. We decided to do CDASS instead of CNA its so much better. Im Only a live in caregiver Im not familiar with any staff here but the program itself has been great the initial process was confusing and took a bit longer but once you are set up its not so bad !
I worked at CDCO for 1year as the administrative coordinator once we got “new management in the fall of 2024, I was hoping to reintegrate smoothly into this new team. Unfortunately, my recent experience left me feeling undervalued and unsupported. So I left the company after a year of employment at CDCO. My experience with Consumer Direct has been very poor. My son is severely disabled, and they have created administrative burdens every step of the way that have created barriers to me providing care for my son. It seems their staff has forgotten who they are serving. I plan to complain to the state in the hopes that Colorado selects another contractor in the future.
