I had a great many creditors and entered the program ready to get out of debt with negotiated settlements for each creditors outstanding balance. There were many different experiences but in the end all remaining balances with creditors became negotiated settlements. It took years yet I could maintain my home, family and other possessions. I was a little hesitant in the beginning due to not seeing any progress. However when I got my first call saying a creditor settled for an amount I was so happy and excited.
