Dr. Dana Gibbs is an exceptional thyroid and hormone specialist. After years of struggling post-thyroidectomy on T4-only therapy, she helped me transition to a personalized T4/T3 combination approach that finally resolved my symptoms. Her depth of knowledge is impressive, and telemedicine visits are easy and thorough. I highly recommend her to anyone unhappy with their thyroid care.
Dr Gibbs gave a presentation earlier this year at our EAA Chapter aimed at keeping licensed pilots healthy enough to safely fly. Among other health topics, she suggested that we obtain and use a CGM(Continous Glucose Monitor) to measure the effect of certain food, drink and high stress activity on blood sugar levels. Dr. Gibbs has been an absolute godsend! After suffering for over 3 years with hair loss, fatigue, brain fog, and poor sleep I have found a physician who actually spends time to diagnose and treat the complex hormonal imbalances that are wreaking havoc on the body. The progress we have made in just 2 months has been life changing. Dr. Gibbs is incredibly empathetic, responds to communication promptly, and is easy to schedule an appointment time with. Dr Gibbs is an excellent Doctor. I have an unusual Thyroid problem known as Reverse T3. It is difficult finding a doctor to treat this thyroid problem. She listened to my concerns and worked with me to get me well. I would recommend her to anyone who was dealing with thyroid disease. You will be working with a doctor who listens to you, works with you and helps you get well.
