I’ve been trying to sort out billing for this location. I called yesterday and they mentioned they’d be able to recall from collections so I could have them re-run my insurance. They also agreed to a discounted service. Today I called back and they told me entirely conflicting information. This location is hostile to the patient and unhelpful.
I have been working with CPC Pathology for 15 years, and they handle all the specimens from my office. In my experience, they are the most professional dermatopathology group I have ever worked with. Their physicians, Dr. Arps and Dr. Liu, are exceptional dermatopathologists with many years of experience and an impeccable ability to interpret pathology slides accurately. i just got a bill from a collection agency!! they screwed up - not billing my medicare but sending it to my old insurance.
Terrible billing services and customer service. They submit bills incorrectly and then expect that’s you did something wrong on your end. For the record it wasn’t even my decision to use them , it was my dermatologist who sent a sample to be tested there. And I had to deal with the unprofessionalism on the back end of everything.
Horrible customer when I called them! The guy in billing kept talking over me. I had to call my provider to have them talk to Consolidated Pathology Consultants since clearly Consolidated didn’t have the info they were already sent by my provider. With so many scams out there, I called Consolidated to be sure they were legit based on something they had mailed me, but got instead an I got a jerk.
