Consolidated installed an elevator in our 7 story co-op three years ago. The installation was long and painful. The result has been a disaster. Mediocre equipment and shoddy workmanship, requiring frequent expensive repairs.

Here is my recent email to Ken (one of the manager there): Ken - I would recommend you do some research on topics like « being a responsible business » and « customer-centric business » if you want to stay in business for another decade. Charging your customers for the month of March when you logically did not provide service while the entire city was in lock-down and people dying is beyond bad taste. Disaster! Elevator has not worked smoothly since Day One. Company has not been accountable for its shoddy work.
