I saw a derm at Rush twice who had no idea how to treat the skin condition I had and only made it worse. I was referred to Dr. Petersen and she diagnosed my condition on my first visit and recommended some OTC products and an inexpensive Rx to treat it. They even use a local pharmacy that delivers to your house for free! Ever since that first visit, I have returned to Dr. Petersen for annual skin cancer checks and other skin things. I think she's great- very kind, personable and thorough.
I’ve seen Dr. Petersen for a few years and I have had a positive experience with each visit. I also have a 100% success rate clearing whatever brought me in. She is thorough in her analysis and personable with her feedback—so kind and easy to talk to while providing a great outline for the probable issue and treatment.
I had a lipoma on the front of my head (thought it was a cyst until it was removed). It was a little more complicated to what they typically see and both Drs. Conrad & Petersen worked together to remove it. I'm about 3 weeks post-op and I couldn't be happier that I don't feel a giant bump on my head anymore. 10/10 would 100% recommend this practice to a friend!
I do NOT recommend this doctors office. They wasted my time, my money, and were dishonest. I came in to have a skin tag removed, and the doctor agreed to do it, but she did not have time that day. When I went to reschedule the appointment, I was informed that doctor had changed offices. They scheduled me with someone else, which I thought would be fine. Upon my first visit to Conrad Petersen derm with Dr. Erin Petersen, I was greeted warmly and treated like family , both by Dr. Petersen and her nurse, Nikki! I cannot emphasize enough the kindness displayed by the duo and the excellent explanations of all that was happening as it was happening. Highly recommended!
