I have been a loyal customer until today. The man behind the meat counter treated me in a disrespectful way. I have never had him wait on me before and after this he will not get the opportunity to ever wait in me again. I went straight to the Butchers Block and got the service that I deserved.
RecommendedGreat local market with beautiful meats, produce and unique items such as NC cheese, local made desserts, loads of dried beans, peanuts. Known for its pimento and cheese, chicken salad, nostalgic environment. So glad Lexington offers this treat of a store.

Ok so we originally bought some meat from this market and we were super excited to grill it out on my husband's only day off in 6 MONTHS!! Unfortunately something was off about the meat to us and we reached our via Google review and we were met with the most amazing customer service!! This store is amazing and smells so good when you walk in!
I seen a piece on PBS about Nc country stores. I decided since I was off . I would take my dad to get him out of the house. I'd heard about their pimento cheese . I ended up getting pimento cheese, homemade liver pudding and some sausage. If you like liver pudding it's worth getting. You won't regret it. Oh and I picked up a t-shirt lol.
They have the best pimento cheese. It’s a super cute store with friendly staff.
I have lived in Davidson County since 2013 but actually entered the market for the first time yesterday. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. This makes me truly feel like part of the community.
