I have been a loyal customer until today. The man behind the meat counter treated me in a disrespectful way. I have never had him wait on me before and after this he will not get the opportunity to ever wait in me again. I went straight to the Butchers Block and got the service that I deserved.
RecommendedGreat local market with beautiful meats, produce and unique items such as NC cheese, local made desserts, loads of dried beans, peanuts. Known for its pimento and cheese, chicken salad, nostalgic environment. So glad Lexington offers this treat of a store.

RecommendedI seen a piece on PBS about Nc country stores. I decided since I was off . I would take my dad to get him out of the house. I'd heard about their pimento cheese . I ended up getting pimento cheese, homemade liver pudding and some sausage. If you like liver pudding it's worth getting. You won't regret it. Oh and I picked up a t-shirt lol.
