Update: In response to customer service reply to my review, you were NOT really able to help with fees. Yes, $10 in fees were reversed, but the rest were kept without any concern on their part. So, no, the fees were NOT RETURNED. Original: Not a fan. Had to open a savings account in order to get a car loan (didn't realize this, but apparently the case - no loan without an account). Paid the loan off in 4 months, but although other banks allow you to keep money in a SAVINGS account without issue, they charge inactivity fee after 6 months of $5/month. No alert until 4 months of fees, when I got a paper statement (electronic statements never emailed), which of course, they charged me $2 to send. This review is in regards to a call with customer service. I needed help setting up payments for a new loan and Tara was amazing. Not only did she patiently walk me through the process, she ensured that I was all set with questions and concerns. It is refreshing to speak to a customer service representative that is friendly and helpful. I give Tara 10 !
Trying to get an insurance check cashed for a homeowner's claim, made it incredibly clear that the managers (yes, multiple), that they do not know the process, and do not care to find out how it works. One of the managers called me by the wrong name with my license literally sitting in front of them. I am generally a fan of credit unions, but this branch in particular shows how little they care about the people they do business with.
