If you want to feel like the team set to deliver your baby, are strangers, go here. The midwives didnt make any effort to get to know me or me them. I ended up delivering elsewhere and they didnt even check to see if I was ok once I told their receptionist I had my baby. Worst prenatal experience ever overall. The only compliment I have as far as the midwives is they dont rush through your appointment
Elaine Moore was the midwife that assisted me through most of my labor and birth. I could not have had anyone better!! She was absolutely amazing. I knew I was in good hands. We ended up needing a doctor at the final hour to use the vacuum but Elaine stayed with me the entire time. It was a joy being a patient at connect us health during this pregnancy and delivery. If I do it again I know where to go!
I can’t begin to put into words how amazing my experience has been with the team at Connectus Health! Being my first pregnancy, and wanting an all natural approach, the midwives here made me feel very supported and cared for. My Midwife who delivered me about 2 weeks ago is Lisa Blount at Priest Lake off of Murfreesboro! She was AMAZING ! Through out the visits she took all the time and patience to go over all questions, concerns and possibilities . On the actual day I delivered I called her at 1 in the morning woke her out of her sleep, timed co reactions called her back at 3:40 told me to meet her at the hospital and she was there within 15 minutes. Yesterday changed my life. At 3:10pm, slipping out at 7 pounds and 14 ounces, Odette de la Cour was born. Without the support of Addie Graham, one of the Midtown Midwives, I don't know how I could have done it! She was supportive and strong and always reminded me that I "was doing great!" I m also pleased to say the we were the first to use the brand new Birthing Center at St. Thomas Midtown! It was so comfortable -truly a serene place to do some insane and beautiful life work. Thank you Midtown Midwives! You're doing great!
