I recently spent a week at this crisis center, and I left feeling even more confused and frustrated than when I arrived. From the moment I got there, there was a complete lack of communication. Went here on a TDO, felt like an elementary schooler and had to watch as staff do nothing but scream at patients and threaten them with police and such. Rooms were absolutely cold just enough i redeveloped a worse bronchitis when leaving. Food there is actually gross like what they serve in prison, packaged in saran wrap with low quality food from like a school kitchen. The therapy I received there was great. However, the meds were wrong according to my outside psychiatrist. The written disposition about my case was totally erroneous and was given by third parties without my input. Men and women are thrown together in the common area and have coed bathrooms…scary. The bathrooms are locked until a staff person unlocks them. No outdoors time and the windows were blocked to the outside. Even max security prisons have outdoor time and PT.
