After obtaining quotes from approximately 5 companies for a pet containment system for the puppy we were expecting in Winter 2001, i decided on Connecticut Pet Containment. Price was reasonable. Service was a matter of a phone call. It was a chance. if I could give 0 stars, I would. Terrible customer service. We purchased the system 10 years ago. The company recently came under new ownership. At the time of purchase, we were ‘up sold’ the new rechargeable collar, being told it has an life expectancy of 20-25 years (which their website still says). We charged it every 3-4 weeks as instructed. Last week our dog ran through the fence line for the first time ever and was attacked by a raccoon. No beep/no shock from the collar.
