I had a good experience with a few months of counseling. Unfortunately, they don’t have appointment reminders, which made it difficult when my schedule changed. They agreed to send manual reminders, but they experienced IT issues, and I couldn’t continue paying the $250 cancellation fee. I hope they update their systems!
Dr. Strand is a wonderful, caring human being. I know because I trained him. He has an outstanding knowledge of the field, understands how to interpret and apply scientific evidence, and has the right humanistic orientation to connect with his patients and make them feel valued, develop a shared understanding of the issues, and help orient toward adaptive ways of living. I give him my highest rating.
After bad past experiences with therapy, I was a bit worried about seeking help but Dr. Strand was so easy to talk to. He is amazing, caring, and very helpful.
Dr.Strand is absolutely amazing. He truly cares about others and helping them through their journey. He takes time to truly listen & help overcome the struggles in life. It’s hard to find that in a provider these days. So happy to have found him. Book your session.
I’ve gotten lucky enough to sit through some sessions led by Mike as well as get to know him on a personal level. He has an incredible ability to make everybody he talks to feel important and respected. Beyond that, his technical know-how for digging into emotional issues and coming to a productive end is unmatched in my experience. By leading with compassion and empathy he has consistently made me feel very supported in facing my problems.
