my cat is dying with a horrible infection and went blind. our regular vet referred us to Conneaut Lake Veterinary Hospital, which we've used before and have an account from when our dog lost an eye but they won't see us because our cat hasn't been there before...so we aren't considered a "client" that's bologna and the answering staff was rude as hell. Paid $70 to get Guinea Pigs tooth cut and as you can see in the photo they did a real bang up job. He immediately started losing weight after his visit and was barely eating. He passed away this morning, we were going to try and make another appointment just today and we found that he had passed. We never thought we would have to check his tooth to make sure they actually did what they were paid for. Don't ever take an exotic pet here, they had no idea how to trim his teeth. RecommendedWonderful, caring staff that go above and beyond to help care for your pets. I had to say goodbye to my senior dog of almost 13 years today, and the staff was amazing. They did not try to rush me in and out. They gave me my time and space to say goodbye, and helped to ease the process and make my sweet old boy comfortable and calm in his final moments. I highly recommend this vet hospital.
There truly isn't enough words in any language to express how much we appreciate the staff at Conneaut Lake Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Becky Stanton and Anna have been so amazing to our family in one of the most terrible times in our lives. Very informative and patient. Never at any appointment did we ever feel rushed. The kindness they have shown our family will never be forgotten. If we ever own a pet again we will definitely use Conneaut Lake Veterinary Hospital in the future.
Superb doctors and staff that always explain everything, especially to a mom of new golden puppy with a couple extra k9 health issues here and there. I appreciate that they give plenty of time to sit with me and I never feel rushed and onto the next. Always times/appointments available when we have needed extra visits. I love how they all hold and love Quinn like she was their own. Many thanks to all!!

We took our pup Zoey to them after she had jumped out our third story window. We called them on our way in, and they had the doors open and waiting on us. They rushed us straight back and got her sedated & x-rays done quickly. They all treated our Zoey like she was one of their own. Dr. Consla even took the time to call me and talk to me about my concerns the next day! Even though in the end, Zoey couldn't be saved, because her injuries were too bad, they were fantastic! I am new to the CL Veterinary office, I have had my kitten there twice, so far Dr Consla has been fantastic with Lucifer, even informed me I had a male not a female. My family all got a big chuckle from that. I will continue to go there.
Yesterday our Ferret, Monster, was obviously very sick/dying. when they did not have an available appointment until later in the day they allowed me to bring him right in and leave him. If they had not done this I know he wouldn't be alive today. They immediately began to care for him and allowed me to see that he was doing better before I left. When my son picked him up at the end of the day he was back to his spunky self. Monster has a condition that is the opposite of diabetes and takes medication 2x a day, which we have ... read more
