I worshipped here Saturday, June 30, 2018. Although I live in Tucson, I am here while my best friend of 51 years is transitioning from a terminal illness to death. I felt welcome by everyone I spoke to and was especially moved by the music and the rabbi’s genuine kindness to me when I told him why I was here. I will return to this lovely synagogue each Shabbat for as long as I’m in New York.
Such a warm, inclusive community! One feels immediately welcomed. As a visitor, my family and I certainly appreciated the abundant hospitality. The rabbi’s message was uplifting!
