Takes time with his patients and listens to what you have to say. He has really helped me with my depression and anxiety. I couldn't ask for a better psychiatrist!
Absolutely no sympathy or connection with my first time visit. Not only did he scam my insurance company, but he only saw me for half an hour and charged my insurance for a full hour. Please stay away
No compassion whatsoever. As a high functioning professional with bipolar disorder, he treated me decently. When my condition became disabling he did nothing to help my disability application. And would no longer prescribe controlled substances. He's supposed to be Board Certified in Addiction Medicine and doesn't understand the need for a medication versus an addiction.
Wait time was always at least an hour. Then I’d spend 5 minutes listening to his pearls of wisdom, then he’d ask if I had any issues with the meds. He’d write the scripts and that was it. Often couldn’t hear or understand him. Staff is overworked or just frustrated about something because always abrupt on the phone.
Has the education but appears to be overbooked every time I saw him. Usually waiting 45minutes or more past my scheduled appointment, while watching client after client go back to back. He is also very quiet and gives minimal answers to questions.
Upon seeing me he would ask, Are you suicidal? I'd say no, depressed? I'd say no, and then I would sit there and wait while he wrote out prescriptions and tried to convince why I needed even more scripts as well. After 4 years, of clean drug screens, he did not do what he said he was going to, and in the end I feel like all he did was take advantage of my situation to make money. Blew up on me about billing issues like other review mentioned, said thing thats were unprofessional & unethical.
Signed an agreement that never said I had to pay the full amount I owed him. They set up a payment plan with me, than two months later he tells me I have to pay the whole amount I owed him. Tried telling me they are going broke and that insurance companies pay them less. I complied in every aspect that I was suppose to. He also has anger issues.
