The Lodge life has well thought out activities & planned events. The staff make the difference and they strive to make the residents feel at home. There are meals that are diverse and provide wellness but there is always an optional choice for pickier eaters.

My 86 year old Mother fell and fractured her arm. I live in Alberta so Mom was in the hospital for nearly a week until I could get here. It happened over Easter weekend and could not make arrangements until I arrived but talked to Jon at Conestoga Lodge to see if they had a room for respite care over Easter, as that’s what my mother wanted to go until she could manage on her own. I had only ever heard fantastic things about Conestoga Lodge so when I required a place for a respite stay for an ill relative I knew exactly where I wanted him to go. Unfortunately, the social worker at Grand River Hospital informed me that Conestoga Lodge’s respite rooms were already full and that they had no current availability for respite stays.
