I suggest Moses Cone Gsboro, Memorial Chapel Hill, or Duke Regional. They can't sell this Hospital, buyer back out, doubtful they can give It away. What a mess The Kernodles left Alamance County in!!!! Their Clinic attached o this miserable ER, Hospital.
Incompetence at Kevorkian General Most locals know not to come here. In the past 20 years we've known of 2 people who's deaths were caused due to incompetent care. One family member lost the use of their leg due to unsterilized surgical equipment. Recently a family member was admitted and they performed a catherization due to heart blockage history. DANGEROUS! Don't Go To This Hospital ANY Positive comments about Alamance Regional Hospital are obviously coming from their own staff. Surgery at this hospital is a death-sentence.
When you need the very best of care, try Alamance Cancer Center! From the moment you walk through the door to be checked in, you'll know you're in a cancer center that cares! Homey furnishings and friendly smiles welcome you in. Both the nurses and doctors exhibit both medical knowledge and patience just when you need it. PROS: Courteous, patient staff; warm atmosphere. Absolutely terrible. They care only about how much you can pay them. Patient experience "investigations" are a joke!
Very poor service. One excellent nurse, Ana Rodriguez, the rest were terrible. Rude, slow, judgemental, took over half an hour to answer the call bells. One poor man was crying in pain for several hours before anyone did anything to help... a horrible horrific experience
Overall, a good facility; somewhat aging, but the staff is friendly
Supper in the cafeteria is early, and over early. If you're used to eating at 7, you may go hungry or go elsewhere
