My mother has been a resident for a year. She is treated like family and “loves the food”. Care takers, nursing , administrator, and hair dresser all work as a unit to provide residents a happy, comfortable and safe environment . As a retired nurse myself, I appreciate the detailed care and compassion.

My mother moved into Concordia at the Orchard about 18 months ago because she was no longer safe to live on her own, yet she didn’t want to live with any of her children. She was initially upset about having to move to an assisted living facility but has since said that it was the absolute best decision she/we ever made. Choosing a facility for a loved one can often be stressful and very difficult. My family found ourselves in this situation due to a life changing need, but the staff and administration at The Orchard were there to support and facilitate the transition from home life to assisted living.
