I cannot thank the Hospice House enough for the service and support they have offered my family over the last week. The facility itself is excellent, but the attention from staff, nurses, counselors, was above and beyond my expectation. They care not only for the patient, but also the family. There is a beautiful balance of light hearted humor and love while not losing sight of the gravity of the situation. Thank you
This place could not be any worse! NEVER allow your loved one to end up here if you care about them! My Father went in to the E.R. and ended up here and he had been fine talking laughing and eating and in good spirits when at the hospital. Then almost immediately after he arrived at hospice, I got a call asking if I could be his proxy to decide on putting in a Pic line type of thing to continuously give him pain medication to euthanize him basically because he couldn't speak for himself, he wasn't talking or active he was ju... read more
Such an amazing facility and staff. What a blessing for my brother to spend his last days here. Everyone in this position should be so fortunate.
My sister lost a 3 and a half year battle with stage 4 breast cancer years ago. Her last few days were at Hospice where she was treated with the highest care and respect. The nurses and staff were absolute angels and because of the peace they provided for her, her journey was quick and peaceful. Reviews aren't about Medicare rules and what you want to happen, it's about the dying, it's about tears, sorrow, memories some hard to forget.
